A core aspect of Fluid Gravity's work is studying energetic materials during periods of strong energy release. The timescales are very short (micro- to milli-seconds) and viscous forces are usually not significant. For this work we use our own hydrocode called EDEN. This exists in one, two and three dimensional versions and can be run on home computers and parallel supercomputers alike. A wide range of material models and constitutive relations are available use in the codes as well as two-phase capabilities and the pages in this section give some examples of its application.
